We booked the couples retreat for the 30th December.The food was spectacular & the breakfast was the best we have ever had! It was great to see all the beer, cider & spirits on the bar are Welsh, da iawn!! We will definitely visit again & have recommended to friends and family
Rooms are a little to be desired, but the staff and the restaurant are world class. We had breakfast and dinner and were blown away by the flavors, presentation and quality of the food and beverages. The staff was top notch. The rooms are small and basic, but clean. Walking distance to The Racecourse Ground. There’s a good sized fenced in park just a block away perfect for our dog. Overall would stay again and will definitely recommend to our family and friends.
Didn't stay overnight so can't comment on the rooms, however the food and service for our office Xmas meal was fantastic. The one teeny thing that was missing was Christmas crackers on the table! What's a Christmas do without a silly paper hat!! Also, no background music, but I'm sure our loudness would've drowned it out anyway!

I would like to thank Sam and his team at the Lemon Tree for the excellent , exceptional & professional service they gave us before, during, and after our Wedding Breakfast on 2/12/2023. Everything was 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟not only for us but for the 50+ Guests who have all highly recommended your venue. The service and all food was top class, together with excellent accommodation. Amazing afternoon tea, would highly recommend trying it. Pastries were all freshly baked, great service and lady at reception and service was very nice. I even manage to get the secret recipe for the amazingly soft Madeleine from the chief. Very enjoyable moment to celebrate the New Year with my partner. Thank you to everyone involved.
Stayed at this lovely dog friendly hotel. The room and bathroom were very clean. Lots of options available from the hot drinks selection in the room. All the staff were friendly and really accommodating. Look forward to staying here again.
Excellent three course meal this evening for a family event. Food was tasty, different and adventurous. Lots of choice in all courses. Extensive wine menu and cocktails. Staff helpful and wonderful ambience. Chef happy to chat and discuss eating options.
